6/12 Position Nitrogen Evaporator

First introduced in 1959, the twelve position N-Evap (Catalog #11155) has proven to be an extremely durable, time tested and highly affordable member of our N-Evap line. These economical units provide controlled concentration of sample vials through the application of nitrogen gas within a heated water bath. The N-Evap’s circular design permits each sample to be accessible from the front of the instrument for easy insertion and retrieval. When the preparation process is complete, samples are lifted from the bath by a stainless steel compression spring hoist assembly. Needle valves, individually milled from solid brass, enable precise, uniform adjustable nitrogen blow down which promotes efficient and safe sample reduction with minimal nitrogen consumption. Teflon coated models for acid resistant applications are available. An optional 6 position sample holder is available to accommodate larger volume samples up to 100 ml. This evaporator has been engineered to UL specification for laboratory use.
