Teflon-Free Nitrogen Evaporators for PFAS Analysis

Trusted by the Leading Environmental Labs

Designed specifically for PFAS sample preparation, our Teflon-free nitrogen evaporators help laboratories minimize the risk of fluoropolymer contamination during critical concentration steps. These systems are cited in EPA PFAS Methods 533, 537, 537.1, and 1633, supporting compliance with widely adopted regulatory workflows. Trusted by many of the industry’s largest environmental testing laboratories, they deliver reliable, contamination-free sample evaporation without compromising performance or throughput.

Teflon-Free N-EVAPs
for PFAS Research

DESCRIPTION

The Teflon-free N-EVAP nitrogen evaporators are designed for laboratories performing PFAS sample preparation and concentration. These evaporators allow multiple samples to be processed simultaneously while eliminating potential fluoropolymer contamination during nitrogen blowdown evaporation. Both the 12 and 24 position models are constructed using 100% Teflon-free components, ensuring that no PTFE or other fluoropolymers are present in the instrument.

Cited in EPA PFAS methods 533, 537.1, and 1633, these N-EVAP models are trusted by leading environmental research laboratories.

The Teflon-free N-EVAPs are particularly suited for research laboratories, where workflows often involve multiple small batches, varying tube sizes, and shared instrumentation. Both models can accommodate 15 mL and 50 mL centrifuge tubes, providing flexibility for different PFAS preparation procedures. Each sample position includes an individual needle valve, allowing independent nitrogen flow control so samples with different evaporation endpoints can be processed at the same time.

For PFAS laboratories that require flexibility and contamination control, the Teflon-free N-EVAP provides an ideal solution. Laboratories processing large batches of identical samples may instead benefit from Organomation’s Teflon-free MULTIVAP nitrogen evaporators, which are designed for higher-throughput testing environments.
