Large Scale Solvent Evaporator for KD Flasks
DESCRIPTION
This large scale solvent evaporator is designed to concentrate up to five 1000 mL flasks at once. It is ideal for labs that might otherwise need to install several rotary evaporators to handle their samples. The evaporator is a variation on Organomation's standard S-EVAP Solvent Evaporators, which are designed to hold 250 mL or 500 mL flasks.
The instrument comes with a heated water bath with digital controls, sample holder for five 1000 mL flasks, and a water distribution manifold to connect all five condensers to one chiller line. Evaporated solvent from all samples is recollected and drained into a central collection flask for easy disposal.
